What is Plein Air: A plein air painting contest is an event where artists create paintings outdoors, capturing the natural landscape and surrounding environment in real time. "Plein air" is a French term meaning "in the open air." The contest allowed artists a set amount of time to complete their work, promoting spontaneity and direct observation of light and atmosphere. Participants compete in two categories, and public voting will determine the winner. A celebration of both art and the beauty of nature!
